    Default Merlin with green dinner

Here is another frame from my shoot with Dave Salem. Merlin's snack was a dragonfly

Cool image, Arash! I love the clean bg and the pop of green that the dragonfly adds. Nice bird and perch too!

This is terrific. I don't know what I like best- the merlin or the dragonfly.
    IQ superb, love the BG
I would clone out the little bit of debris under the perch to the left of the tail

I agree with all above, great capture of a beautiful bird. I'd clone out the poop on the perch as well as the minor debris at the bottom.

Excellent IQ, pose and clean background. The prey item adds interest.

How cool! I love the way the Merlin is holding on to the dragonfly. Vertical comp is well balanced, and overall IQ is as expected from you. I'd experiment with a warmer WB, but certainly fine as is too.

Great frame. Like the composition, light, details and IQ. Dragonfly included makes a point. TFS.

    Cheers,

Excellent shot Arash. Detail is great and the meal is a big plus. I'm with Daniel on trying a slightly warmer color temperature.
