Dripping Ibis

I liked the light, the head angle, the wet head, and the drips, but the rest of the body didn't offer much, so I decided to crop this ibis down to the part I liked best. Did a little cleanup, rotated 1% CW, cropped and sharpened. Any suggestions appreciated.

Nice portrait. I like the head angle, bg, and dripping water. Exposure looks right on.

Nice portrait, Mike. Color, sharpness, pose and composition are all excellent. The water droplets add further interest. To correct a very minor nit, you might consider cloning out the specular highlights on the face.

I like this a lot but feel the image is too long and would add a sliver of canvas on the LHS and take some off the top.
The trailing drops and lovely exposure on the whites make this a nice image.
There is a faint dust spot at the top of the frame about 1/3 of the way in and about half an inch down that should be evicted.

I really like what you were going for here. The eye looks great. Excellent water dripping action and resulting movement in the water. I too cold go for a bit less canvas above.

Nice image Mike. The water droplets add so much, great capture. Exposure looks spot on. I might be inclined to take a sliver off the top, would have to see how it affected the image. I certainly works well just the way you have it.
