    Lovely detail and color in the shell. I'm not sure about the hard lighting and strong shadows.

    Great shell! Not sure about the composition with the shell horizontal and the bkgd so strongly diagonal. I might experiment with tipping the shell in the direction of the diagonals, since the shell has a strong tip to tail that makes an obvious line of direction. Those internal spirals and colors add an interesting visual flow in another direction. So for me I see too many strong visual directions with this presentation.

    Great detail, and luminosity on the shell. Could you share your technique and program that you used to put it together. I like the composition, but might try to minimize the triangular shape on the URC.

    Jackie,

    I am still a novice at focus stacking. I started with Elements XXL (an add on to photoshop Elements - I still use elements and have not graduated to the Full Photoshop). I had enough luck with that that I wanted something better, so I now am using Zerene stacker. Very easy to use with a good editing function.
