    This was taken a month ago in the Detroit River. The Detroit River separates Canada and the US. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Nice low angle and pose from the duck.

    Maybe you could reduce the specular highlights, if you are minded to do that sort of thing.

    It looks like what we call a Common Pochard Aythya ferina. Same bird?

    Gerald the Common Pochard is a different duck that is not found in too many places in North America, although they look very similar.

    Wonderful shot of this Redhead, one of many species that continues to elude me. I could imagine just a tiny bit more sharpening on the cheek, and a bit less on the flank which looks just a little crunchy.

    Beautiful frame of my favorite diver. The colors and details look great and I like the POV. Maybe a bit off the top for me. Well done Jim.
