Hi Rachel very nice title fitting the image very well .
Love the intense look of the leopard . Nice handling of the light with great detail and very nice tones and colors. Sharpening does look better here than previous posting
.
Have you recovered HL on LHS as viewed under the whiskers ? I might crop from LHS to go for 5x4 to loose some of the dead space , i feel it does not add much to the image , just my view .
Nice job in field and DD.

Gorgeous boy, I love the new scar on the nose. Nice detail and you made the best of the situation as it looks like he had a lot of grass around him. Colours look spot on.

A very compelling look. My initial impression was that the blue sky didn't look quite right and the fur appeared to have a cyan color cast. So, I took it into CC and the color improved immediately.
Not sure why. I viewed the image initially with Chrome that is set to color correct. So, a quick look with Firefox and IE revealed four different shades of blue sky. I made a snip showing the four different colors, but this is not the forum for that. I'll post it on Eager to Learn.

Thanks Andreas, Dumay and Douglas. Andreas - not that I recall. I think it is an optical illusion of fur from the neck peeking out and being flattened by the head.
Douglas, if you are seeing a cyan cast or 4 different colors of blue in the sky then it is almost certainly an issue with your computer and/or browsers. There are no color issues with the image. When was the last time you calibrated your monitor?
Thanks again,
Rachel
P.S. BTW Eager to Learn is not the correct place to post it either. That is for posting your own images. If you want to post a question about monitor calibration or browsers then most likely the best place to post it is in Digital Workflow.

Hi Rachel, although on the laptop the colours look faithful to me and you were less than 3ft to my left
. Nice intense stare and I like the fact he was above us, offers a different perspective. If you have it, then a bit more below would be good for my tastes.
Douglas, if you downloaded the image did you convert to RGB or left it as an sRGB file when viewed in CC? Note update is available now for both CC & PSCC 2014.

Then the 1.4 would have been a better choice I think, then cropped.

deadly looks you have captured in this image Rachel.
Nice and sharp image. TFS.
Any reasons you have not removed the twig which is crossing across his left ear ?

Thanks Shantanu. In general I do not clone. If something was there at the time of capture it stays for me, exceptions made for human interference such as trash. I will also occasionally clone if I am doing a more artsy presentation that represents a dramatic departure from the original capture. As with most things, how much cloning and other pp one does is a matter of personal preference and ethics.
Thanks again,
Rachel
