I captured this image Friday morning at Circle B Bar Reserve. The bird was perched on a square wooden post that screamed manmade, so I decided a portrait would wok best. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

A really nice clean and sharp image Joe, never know how much of the bird to leave in a portrait shot but this looks goodwill be interesting to see what others think.

This is the perfect crop, for me. I love the pose and detail. I'd have a comparison with a little more mid-tone contrast and probably a tad warmer (or a tad less cool).

I like the sharpness, details, pose and composition. The ruffled feathers give a great sense of depth. I would warm the image a bit as well. Very well done Joe.
