    Avian Red-breasted Merganser

    Tripod, 5D3, 600 IS L II, 1.4TCIII, f/6.3, 1/2500s, ISO400, natural light,
PP: crop and tone adjustment of BG,
    Full photo size: 2668 x 1793 pixels,
    Location: Adriatic coast.
I did many shots of the trio. This is the only one with 3 x eye contact and hope acceptable head angle. Guess the BG between 2 birds at the right could be an issue.

    Thanks for viewing and C&C.

Great shot of these beautiful birds. Saw a bunch here today but could not get close... need a kayak. TFS

love the pose and eye contact from all three and it's nice to get them all sharp. I wish the man-made elements in the BG ( a distant bridge or pier?) were less prominant

This is lovely! Although the BG area mentioned suggests something man-made, artistically it serves to bridge the gap to the rightmost bird and is a very nice soft color against the water.

I like the low angle, raised tail, sharpness and calm water. I too wish the BG blended better. HA's work for me. Well done Miro.
