    I love watching these birds lumbering across the sky. In the Mediterranean we call this bird the "Sad King."

    Nice capture, the background tone works well with the Heron. To my eyes the image is a tad soft, I might have applied a little more sharpening.

    Hope you're enjoying the Canon 7D mk ii.

    Good and apropos title. I wish the bird weren't flying away and I think it needs some more sharpening. I do like all those shades of grey.

    this one isn't working for me, bird has already passed you, wing position is a bit awkward and he is quite soft too

    Agree with Arash, pose isn't great, and it looks a bit soft. Did you denoise a lot cause the wing has that look.
