Many layers and textures. One of a fern, and leaves, very subtle. The other textures from Bellefleur. Cropped to pano. I wish I could have kept the raindrops in the photo, but too tired to keep working on it. Another from Algonquin.

I love the colors and the backgroud textures and designs. Very creative. The delicate grasses are graceful and remind me of the beauty of winter. I wish the grasses stood out more, maybe more saturated and/or defined? They are a bit overshadowed by the lovely bg.
Hi, Jackie, I like the subtlety and the fern texture in the background. I'm conflicted on the left grass stem coming off of the bottom edge. It doesn't quite seem to fit with the other stems which are in focus.

I like the earthy color scheme, and the contrast between the grasses and the background. The subtle ferns are a wonderful addition to the background. When I first looked at this, my reaction to the stem in the lower left was much like Cheryl's, I think. However, I do like that it points up to the curled head of the grass. The simplicity of the image is one of its strong points. It's very nicely done.
I should have thanked you long ago for mentioning that Belle Fleur textures are so good. I checked them out right away and have been using them regularly.
This is very lovely! Beautiful deep blues and greens for the bkgd and the subtle ferns are a brilliant and super interesting addition. Great creative thinking! The graceful grasses play simply across the rich bkgd. I would prefer that all the grasses are bending in the same direction to the left. Those 3 pieces that are diagonal and do not bend pull my eye away from the overall feeling of the image; the one soft one coming out from the bottom center, the one that crosses a curved stem and a small one that connects the two right stems.
Thanks for the comments. The grasses that do not follow the flow of the others are actually leaves coming off the main stem. I totally agree that the OOF stem in the LHS should be removed.
I like it![]()

Jackie,
Greetings. Thanks for sharing this beauty. The delicate curves leading to the unfolding accented with water droplets are superb. Good show!
Cheers,
