    This is a Tree Swallow pair in post-copulation mode. What more can I say?! Image created in Sackville, NB today.

    Yup, that's a cloaca all right. I imagine that caught your eye when reviewing your days work. Could be a good shot for a bird behavior reference book or the like.

    Yes, I'd have to agree with Blake...the great heron photo might be a bit too much but this one of the swallows really works. Great composition and BG on this one!
