    Default Northern Parula.

Among the six species of Warblers we have right now in a wooded area along Lake Ontario,
this is the only one that actually stops every once in a while, allowing us to take pictures.
I removed a few OOF branches from the background and smoothened it out a bit.
    Thanks for looking.

Great image Karl. I might try trading ISO for DOF, but awesome as is

Beautiful, with great detail! I'd consider cleaning up the left edge of the perch. The shallow DOF works for me as artistic.

Hey Karl you get some stunning Warblers visiting you, this one looks great, nice neat looking soft feathers on this sharp image if you get my drift, good even b/g making all in all a top class image.

    Karl:

Well exposed, sharp, nice angle in frame. If this was a setup, I always try to be square to the perch to minimize the DOF issues. The soft background helps him pop.

    Cheers

The parula looks terrific! Love the IQ and the BG.
I would work on the BG area under the wing and near the birds left foot where I see cloning residue. Easy fix.
    Excellent photograph!

Great color tone and light. Like the bird pose and eye contact. Wish a bit more details around the eye. TFS.

Beautiful bird, all puffed up in his winter down jacket. Great detail, nice light. I'm surprised you still have them up there; certainly they don't spend the winter. My only wish would be for a different background color -- it doesn't seem to suit the bird. But that's my personal taste. A fine image.

I like the puffed up pose, BG, details and sharp where it needs to be. I am surprised they are still around too. Well done Karl.
