    Default Maximum Wings Down!

I photographed this Northern Pintail at the Bosque a couple of weeks ago with fellow BPNers Kerry Perkins and Dan Brown. I love the energy and color of the frame! Looking forward to visiting the winter ducks of California with Dave Salem in a couple of months!

Nice one Doug, but then would I expect otherwise. Great flight image.

Excellent, the BG is, you know, Bosque and terrific, and the pose is perfect.
Whites are borderline but nitpicky on such a nice image......

Loved this when you first sent it to me! Awesome wing position and I really like the flexed pintail with the water splashes and the open bill. Nice BG and details too. Looks a hair bright on my monitor.
Sweet capture buddy and I'm looking forward to our workshop in March too. It's gona be a good season.

    Doug:

Very well done as mentioned by all. The speculum really jumps out as the most colorful part of the image, which is good, to give the image a bit of extra visual pop.

    Cheers

This is my fav image from your first trip to Bosque. Love the wingtips and the droplets of water. Tack sharp with great light and color palette.
