    Default BIG kitty rollover!

Have just returned form another fabulous "suicide month" (late dry season) trip to the North & South Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia.
Here was one of the highlights, a very playful (almost Sabie Sands like ) male leopard completely comfortable with our presence, which, especially for males here is not always the case.
We positioned the vehicle lower down the dry riverbed to afford me this nice low POV shot.

It was late and he was getting quite frisky and an indication of a time to start thinking about food!

    D4s 500 f/4 VR 1/640s f/6.3 ISO800. Almost F/F ACR, PS CC, levels, curves, selective USM, etc.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

Hey Marc what a nice one !!
Stunning low POV , very !! cool roll over pose !! All around a stunning image . Very well composed , if you have a bit more room on both sides would be great (for me ) . maybe you can tone down the HL on RHS slightly or remove it completely .

    Thanks Andreas

I have pretty much taken down the highlight on the RHS to about as much as I dare, ie, without cloning it out (which I don't like to do), feel free to have a go.
Room on either side is F/F, just cropped some off the top, have many with the 80-400, which I might submit at a later date.
The price one pays with a prime lens of course.

Fully understand the limits of a prime , so no big deal . No, editing is your job ....... on your image .

This is a fine image with so much interest. I like the low POV, the cute pose and the illuminated eye! Fun to watch. TFS.

Love the angle, the light on its face, and the pose is top notch.
DOF is perfect to make the face/eyes pop all the more.

Great shot Marc! You're not going to easily see a leopard in a more relaxed state than this! I love the touch of sun on its face and the look backwards as if to say "OK, today you can take all the pics you want..."!

One of your best images when it comes to IQ. I love the pose and the dappled light has been well handled.

Hi Marc - All looks good to me too. Pose and pov really make the image. Looking forward to more from your trip.

Everything have been said. Low POV makes this for me, really a great angle in nice soft light. Well captured Marc, congratulations!

Super low POV image and typical cat like pose. Nice detail and light. TFS Marc
