    Taken the other day while waiting for Great Grey Shrike to turn up,cannon 500mm IS,L,F4.7D,tripod,iso400,F6.3,1/125S,crop,sharpened,levels.

    Hi Chris, the Robin looked fixated on something - cool pose. I like the striking orange on this fellow, it really stands out against the darker BG. Im fine with the perch, just enough to show what the Robin is perched on.

    Nice shot, i like the lighting on it.
    I have also been looking for the elusive Great Grey Shrike, i spent some time near Waddington Fell on Monday, but sadly no luck

    Lovely light and perfect head turn. The dark BG really sets him off. I wouldn't have minded seeing the perch in focus.

    A nice colorful frame Chris. I like the pose and the eye contact and the exposure and details look great. Nice Bg also and I too wish the perch wasn't OOF but not a big deal. Well done
