    Default Tsessebe in Pilanesberg

Hi all , quite boring title , had just simply no idea .

I took this image during my short stay in Pilanesberg NP at the end of my trip to SA .
Very busy there in that park, meaning with humans , but also had for that short stay 4 of the big five in just two days . So from sighting POV it was not too bad.

And the Tsessebe is a species i have seen before once in Babwata in Namibia.

    Canon EOS 1D MK IV
    EF 500 IS L
Window bracket and Gitzo fluid head

    F 6,3 ; Iso 400 ; 1/ 500 sec

Processed with DPP and PS CC ; cropped for comp , very minimal edits in PS for me. I could have blended in that light OOF grass in front of the Antelope , but i was simply too lazy . .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting.

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas - It all looks good with nice tones and colors. Comp works and the long grass out of he mouth adds to the image. Simple but effective portrait.

Andreas, I like the framing, the vertical comp, the head turn and eye contact and the colours. Very simple but beautiful image. TFS.

I agree with the comnents. I find the oof lighter area over the front of the lower chest and side a little distracting. Tfs. Ben

Nice, simple portrait. If cropped for comp, I might leave a little more above, and less below.
Great colours and light in that eye.

Thank you guys for your comments and suggestions .
Ben as i stated in the intro i was just too lazy to cover that light OOF grass , and i wanted to minimize my PP work so i left it in.
Ed you could be right with your crop , i have space on top , thanks for that pointer.

    Cheers Andreas

Lovely pose with good techs Andreas, I like how the BG is almost a coffee toned B&W.

Hi Andreas, nice contest in subject to the environment, provides a lovely standout. Great detail as this helps emphasis the structure/form of the subject. Agree on more space above.
