    Taken at the Alligator Farm in April. 1D mk II, 100-4-- @ 250, 1/100 F5.6 manual, ISO 500. Thought the position of the Egret was interesting although feet were hidden

    Nice setting and a good job of isolating the subject. EXP is also good. The bird's head is turned just a bit too much away from you and the face could use some selective sharpening.

    Thanks for your comments and suggestions, Art. I added some additional sharpening to the face before printing this afternoon and it does help.

    Hi Richard,
    I would have prefered a little more detail in the whites.......but the pose is nice and the BG fairly good. I may clean up a few stray brown twigs if you are comfortable with that.
