Default JANUARY THEME AND NOVEMBER THEME WINNERS

    Hi All:

We are pleased to announce the winners of November's Textures Theme. Special thanks to Steve Maxson who judged the November Theme. Bragging rights this month go to:

1st Place -Sanjeev Aurangabadka, "Ele Eye" http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/124097-Ele-Eye

2nd Place - Steve Canuel, "Textured Animalscape" http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/124590-Textured-Animalscape

    3rd Place - Marc Mol, "Trails & Shadows" http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/124569-Trails-amp-shadows

We're also happy to announce that the January Theme will be "High Key Images." Forum rules still apply. As always, please use the "Theme" prefix from the dropdown menu. Theme images will be critiqued just like other images and are eligible for IOTW honors.

In the meantime, keep posting your images of Predators for the December theme.

    Rachel, Steve and Morkel

Hi Loi - The definition of "high key photography" as I understand it is images where the vast majority of the tones are above mid-grey, the lighting is brighter and there is little contrast or shadows. I hope this helps.
