This is a late migrant we have two at different locations
right now, where I live.
I did some clean up in the background.
Thanks for looking.

I like the pose, composition and how the perch runs through the frame. I think I see a bit of ghosting above the head in the BG. I'm wondering if you can get more detail out of the whites in the breast area. A bird I have yet to get an image of, thanks for sharing it Karl.
Simple and very very sweet image. Very nice pose, beautiful colors and nice diagonal perch.
Regards,
Satish.
That's one smart looking Sparrow Karl, good composition and a very sharp bird, nice shot .

Superb on all counts. I'd be proud to have made this one. I see no ghosting and the WHITEs on the breast look fine. You might want to remove the blue cast from the WHITEs. Love the bird, the beautiful perch, teh BKGR, the SH, and the perfect EXP.

I love the little Fox Sparrows, and love your image, as well. Great colors, very nice background, sharp detail, nice perch, everything well positioned in the frame. There is a post-processing line of some sort above the sparrow's neck and head that should be easy to eliminate.
Thanks for all the comments.
Here is the corrected version.
This is a nemesis bird for me as far as photography goes. Very good image with perfect colour rendition, nice pose, and neat perch. repost is better...well done.
Everything about this is first rate, perch , IQ, color, exceptional......
Repost rocks with the ghosting gone.
Love IQ and great BG,
Gail
