    Kingfisher, female. Beside feather, cleaning the claws is regular part of preening job .
    5D3, 600 IS II L, 1.4TCIII, f/7.1, 1/1250, ISO800, tripod, natural light and perch

    You must be near perfect with the colours on this bird even to the tips of it's toes, perfectly sharp and on a super b/g beautiful piece of work.

    This is superb.
    Love the clean BG and the details are amazing.
    The image is very engaging with the preening pose and those cute little tootsies.
    If you have enough pixels I can see this as a vertical as well.

    Stunning detail and nice behavior. Bg is sweet. I'd switch the perch for something with more character if this is a repeatable shot.
