    This is a technically well executed shot.
    The exposure, light, sharpness and BG tick all the right boxes.

    Lovely shot,I like the crop and the colours.
    I think the chances of getting that close to a wild heron in UK are at best minimal.

    I like the head tucked in pose, details, sharpness, HA and composition. At first I thought of a tighter crop but I wouldn't want to lose any of that sweet layered BG. Very well done Ray.

    Great eye contact, light, detail, and BG. I'd probably move the bird slightly to the left in the frame.
