William you are doing well with your shots of these Buntings hope they will still be with you when they have there full breeding plumage, very nice pose on the reed head, nice shot.

    Very nice image.
I like the pose and the perch but am wishing for more of a vertical comp.
Do you have more room on the bottom?
I would also sharpen the bird a bit more.
Did you manipulate the blue of the sky? It just doesn't seem right to my eye but you were there.

Hi Gail, thanks for that. The only thing I changed was auto white balance, sharpened the bird, pushed the shadows +24. no more room at the bottom

    William,

The repost is improved over the OP. I was too looking for a bit of room below, and possibly some to the left. Otherwise, a neat shot.

Nice shot William I like the composition, the repost seams to have considerably more contrast on the bird - I think this is your sharpening regime? I think the repost is slightly better.

I like the sense of wind here. Nice tones throughout, and I am OK with the comp as is. Pretty neat frame.

I too like the comp on this one and I like the perch allot. The repost helped but it's still a bit flat. Maybe a few points of black. Nice frame
