Today I went to one of my favourite birding areas near my home. When I left home the weather was still quite good, but during the day it turned a bit grey. Ofcourse I would have loved a nice morning sun on the bird, but i am happy with this photo
Sharp, with nice rich colors, but the edge-on-to-the-viewer near-wing position does not work for me...

Agree that i would have preferred the wings up or down on this one as the outstretched wing looks like it cast a shadow on the birds face.
