    Default Belted Kingfisher (female)

I captured this image a while back at Circle B Bar Reserve and have revisited it several times each time trying to do better. The image as show is about 40% of the full frame. The bird while reasonably close when the image was captured is so small that getting more of it to fill the frame would be difficult. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Tough enough to get these guys sitting still. Nice flight shot with good open wings and open beak.

Hi Joseph, you did well here at 400mm. The crop factor did help. The bird is a little small in the frame, but you had good details and sharpness. Loi

Joe as already mentioned the bird is a little small in the frame but still some very good tail, really caught the hovering pose beautifully.
