    nice shot, seems a bit cropped in terms of image quality at least in my eyes. Um, maybe a bit more room on the right.

    Not sure I've ever seen a penguin swim in that pose -- but then I haven't seen very many of them. I'd be tempted to try to make the darks in the BG a little less heavy. It feels like it might want some CW rotation, but that might just be the angle and the way it is pushing up a bow wave.

    Must have been wonderful to be in that place! Still on my list.

    Thanks folks! Not a significant crop, so not sure what you're seeing Dvir. Yes, Diane, this is how they swim (when they're not bulleting by underwater -- I tried to get an image of that with my Olympus TG-3, but they were far too fast for me). I don't think the rotation is wrong; I think it's just the way the water is being pushed up in front of him as he swims. I'll work on lightening up the BG a bit. Yes, Diane, you definitely need to go. It was on the top three of my bucket list since I was a kid and I just want to go right back!
