    Hi Norm
That D7000 worked this one well !!
What a bird ! Maybe a little USM on the belly ?
    No big deal.
Like the background bokeh too !

Beautiful species. Would like to see the right side of the bird in the fame. Perhaps you could have zoomed out just a bit. Also, I think slow shutter speed allowed for a bit of motion blur.

Hi Norm ,was in those theme parks about 20 years ago and thought they where very good for birds, visited about a couple of months ago and still managed to find a few birds when I could escape the kids. That's a great looking bird you have captured with good colour, are they free flying in there?

    Cheers Keith.

Thanks, Keith. I think the birds probably had their flight feathers clipped somewhat, to limit their flight ability. Elsewhere in the park, other parrots and some raptors flew freely. But they were trained and would not try to escape.

Superb preening pose with wonderful colors. Very nice composition. Agree about little bit sharpening.
