Rough-Legged Hawk With Vole
Hi Everyone,
Here is an image of the rough-legged hawk catching a vole out at the local estuary. Not totally out in the open but I did the best I could with obstructions and light angle. This guy won't take his prey off of the ground so you only have a couple of head bobs to get the shot.
Stats: Canon EOS-1D Mark 4, 600mm IS 2 + 1.4X, 1/1600sec at F/5.6, ISO 800
