    Bit of a change to get one not on a gorse twig I thought.
    I say that because I couldn't get him on one !

    car tripod
    D200 Sigma 50-500mm
    640 ISO
    250th f8
    contrast down 1 in camera.
    ev minus one stop
    Neat image. Checked in Bibble.

    Sharp and sweet with nice detail in the dark face. I'd eliminate the round, bright highlight lower left corner.

    nice one John,nice pose,like you said,different to see on the deck,on my screen there is a bit of noise in the BG.thanks.

    Hi John, good low angle, and well exposed on the blacks. I like the pose, together with the placement in the frame.

    Great image with a nice pose. If it were mine, I'd go with one more pass of smoothing on the background.
