    A recent trip to the Spanish Pyrenees produced some cracking birds. Lammergeier's and vultures are attracted to a feeding station in one of the national parks as part of a conservation programme, Stunning birds, this is a close up of head only from nearly a full frame shot.
    Darkened slightly and sharpened twice , once after small resizing.
    Canon 50D, Canon 100-400 @ 285 mm
    ISO 640

    I like the sharpness, details and that eye is very interesting. Nice image Ivan.

    Wow, what an eye an what a bird. I'd love to see a portrait without the chicken bone (????). SH and EXP right on. I am OK with the head angle as it gives us a great look at that eye skin.
