I was obsessed to get this bird in my camera for almost 2 years. At last my wish was fulfilled and this particular day I was sitting quite waiting for anything to come in front of my camera, and this fella came.
I was able to capture male and female both on that day. I took images until my 16gb SD CARD was full.
At that time, I was having Canon T1i.

Canon EOS REBEL T1i, Canon 100-400 IS USM, Handheld
    f/5.6
    ISO- 800
    Exposure - 1/1250 sec
    Flash- no flash used

    Please comment/suggest your thoughts.

Fantastic bird! Stunning plumage. Critical focus locked onto the bird's tail/back area which is unfortunate because that cannot be corrected out of camera...Would have been great if you could have given up some shutter speed to achieve f8...or maybe just back off the perch about a foot...nailing focus on small birds when they are moving is an artform all it's own. Love the background colors....really sets the subject off.
