Great looking frame Arash. Looks like there was a bit of a breeze that evening and it's enjoying the wind running thru it's wings. The direct stare with the lit eyes, the creamy BG and that great evening light make for a real beauty. Well done and see ya down here in a few days.

Hi Ari, tack sharp, and love the eye contact. Well timed to capture the outspread wings, and the little fellow pops nicely against that smooth BG. Well captured.

Stunning! The outstretched wing pose, large yellow eyes looking straight at you, awesome feather detail, soft mottled bkgd, good perch, all perfect!

    Hi Arash,
Great pose and IQ. i also like the light.
I would crop up from the bottom to get rid of some of the OOF rock in the FG.
The owlet's pose makes a pano crop a good choice,
    Gail

Thanks Gail, I did try a pano crop but it didn't look right to my eye. It's a tiny owl and I don't want to exaggerate his wingspan

    best

Strong image, excellent eye contact and what a pose! Light quality does not get much better....Usually your PS work is without flaw, however on this one, there is clearly some funky PS gone wrong in the lower left corner, most noticeable right above the far right hand side rock....? Looks like an easy fix of course...just sayin.

Thanks Shawn, there was no PS work on the rock.

Wow, you know the image is smack on for focus when even the strands of fluffy down are as sharp as we see here. This little fellow has so much character and capturing that with a photograph is a special achievement.
