My favourite image of this recent sighting in the Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa...

Equipment Canon 5DMkiii & 500mm F4 L lens at 1/4000s and F4 at ISO 800. General LR workflow and midtone adjustments in CS6 on this full frame image. A bit tight on top but that is how she rolled...

Hey Rudi, , hope the family is well mate. I think you managed to achieve the maximum out of this image. Tight at the top but hey "that is how she rolled" as you say.

    Nice one.

Nice fall of light here Rudi! Beautiful relaxed stare & body position, sharp where it counts most.

The light is what counts. Shame about the top bit though. Classy colours.

So glad to see you post again,
Beautiful leopard and the light is superb, lovely detail, those long whiskers are just gorgeous! Really like the POV here, image well processed as always

    Missing your B/W conversions...

And that's my dream image ..which I would like to take some day of this fellow..
Awesomly sharp on head, whisker and leg....that shows your capability...
    Great work. Very beautiful image...
IMHO, I feel it would come our more gracefully if you bring down the yellow color saturation...
Also the yellow grass infront of the leg is little bit annoying ...you can clone it easily.

You know I love this, mate. Superb light and angle - agree it's tight on top but you take what you get with a 500mm, less at the bottom would have been worse IMHO...
