I just recently joined this site and am interesting in your comments and critiques. I have been taking pictures of birds for about three years. My goal is taking "printable pictures" of 1000 species. So far I have taken pictures of 621 species in total with 160 counting toward my goals. Looking forward to your C&C. Afterwards, I might have to revise my 160 number. Thanks
Hi Jeff, a big welcome to BPN, and hope you find your feet and join in on the fun. I like the light in this, good detail throughout, and comp wise, I would come in from the left to eliminate the gap between the edge of the frame and tree.
When posting, please post your techs - camera, lens and settings.
Hey Jeff, welcome to BPN!! A fine start too as this is a very appealing image of the WB Nuthatch. Great classic pose of this species, and the tree trunk looks good. Excellent BG. I'm with Stuart in coming in from the left to close the gap, but all else looks super to me.
