Great perch, and good bird and sharpness. Background seems a bit nosy? maybe its my screen.

Lovely composition, love how the perch works with the green BG

nice detail and sharpness on the subject

A bit or NR on the BG could be considered

Hi Greg, another classic Greg Oakley setup. Overall, great IQ, and just love the various colours on this species. Well exposed, good use of subtle flash, and Im in two minds regarding the foliage URC - leave or remove.

What is your rugby team doing mate?

Extraordinarily striking bird. Have not seen this bird before. Very nice setup, and subtle flash fill.

Another classic "down under Alan Murphy" aka Greg Oakley shot.
IQ, set-up are beautiful. A perfect head turn as well.
I find the green BG a bit "green" for my taste and would be tempted to reduce the saturation by about 10%.
    A real beauty,
    Gail

Thank you all for your comments - much appreciated as always.
I agree with the BG, Gail - it is a bit over the top and I agree a tad less saturation would improve - thanks for the pickup...
Hi Stu - absolutely no comment re: the rugby mate - at least our cricket team is giving your boys a bit of competition

Never seen one of these. What a beauty! I love the foliage amongst the perch. My only crit (and this is really small) is that the bg is a tad noisy and perhaps a little too green. Well done.

Great looking bird, the "corridor" it is in between the foliage looks good and shows him well. Agree with you and Gail re the BG being a bit too green , would make a nice painting for someone to do.
