    Nice Image William. I wish, there would have some light in the back of the bird to make it some more standing out, in my opinion.

    Looks good Bill. A sweet pose from a sweet little bird. I like the head position and the clear view of the feet.
    Feather detail looks great.
    BG colors compliment the bird very nicely.
    At first I thought there might be a magenta cast in the BG but I think this looks like the proper color balance upon closer inspection.

    Lovely perky little bird with a nice engaging head tilt! Very good feather details, nice wood perch and lovely mottled brown bkgd.

    maybe a bit more DOF would have put this one over the top

    Yes nice one William I really like the inquisitive pose. I am looking at the colours, very rich, and wonderful detail, a great shot.
    I think there must be regional variation in plumage, the one(s) I have in my garden is considerably lighter.
