About a week ago I was at Circle B Bar Reserve. I found this Anhinga perched on a large square post at one of the water control stations. The perch was large, unattractive, not adding anything to the image. So with the accommodation of the bird I moved close to capture a portrait. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Great pose with lovely light and details! Well done on the composition except I feel the bird is a little tight in the top right corner. You might also like to try a version with less sharpening. With a couple of tweaks, I think your final product will be very nice.

Hi Marina, thanks for viewing and commenting. Easy fix, sometimes it is easy to try to pull more detail than is necessary. Here is an edit with your suggestions. Great to have another set of eyes.

I like the idea, and the fieldcraft. Repost does it for me. Nice work.
