    Default Bronze-tailed Plumeleteer in Costa Rica.

    This is the only hummer with red legs in Costa Rica. It´s a bit large (4´´) and very territorial.

    I used my

    Mark IV
    600f/4+1.4TC@f/9
    Tripod and fill flash.
    ISO 1000
    SS1/80sec.
    Small crop for compo.

    Cool looking Hummer! I love the Blue/Green color against the smooth background...the red feet really stand out on the perch. I would have liked to seen a little more detail in the moss/lichen.

    A real nice image!

    Hi JC, good angled pose, and I really like the detail on the chest. Lovely greens this fellow has, and interesting that this guy is the only species having red feet.

    Lovely image Juan, beautiful bird nicely shown. My only wish when capturing this image would have been... please move just a little to my right so both feet show. Thank you for sharing.

    Wonderful shot and composition. Well balanced color tones, great light and perch. It's sharp. I like eye contact. If mine I would try to darken the highlighted parts of perch. TFS.
