On a heavily overcast afternoon on the tundra, in Iceland 2012, and moments before a light drizzle would start, this microscopic chick darted in front of me, with mother close by. This is the only frame I was able to capture. C&C welcome.

    D3s, Nikon 500mm, 1/800, f 9.0, ISO 800, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

Cute shot, I l ike the setting, maybe it's the light but it appears slightly yellow to me. I think I would apply a little more sharpening to the chick (I appreciate easily overdone ).

A 10 on the cuteness scale. Beautiful habitat, with bird to match. Nicely captured, Geoffrey.
