    Hi Sanjeev - You beat me to it. I also have a full frame image of elephant skin to show the texture. Yours is in more pleasing light though. I think you needed a little more dof because there seems to be a slight fall off in sharpness on the rhs.

    Very nice texture in good light. My thought is the same as Rachel regarding the DOF. Loi

    Hi Sanjeev, I really like the abstract look here, nice thinking.

    As an alternative I might just push things a bit on the Exp to get a tad more contrast in the texture and tone. If you like it try a B/W and then with a slight colour tone to it.

    Very cool - the light really sets it off. I would add some midtone contrast and deepen the blacks, should make it pop even more.
    Next time, try various DOF settings - from 2.8 to 8
