This is another from my Speyside trip. I was up early on Sunday morning and managed to capture this jackdaw just as the sunrise was hitting the top of the tall fir tree.

Nice comp, the bird looks good, a minor nit is I wish the upper left foliage was as sharp as the perch bow.

William a bit of snow on this then it's defiantly a Christmas card, do like the composition on this.

When I saw this image on a thumbnail, I thought wow the bird looks under exposed. Now, I say, what an amazing looking bird!!! Great choice of composition and loving the perch.

Before reading Marina's comment I thought it was a tad dark overall, and I still do. Neat setting though. Just wish the subject was not so steep.
