Canon 5DM3, Canon f5.6 400@f6.3, 1/1000s, ISO 1250, HH, on foot. PP: Bridge/CC cropped some.
Wonderful experience watching while on foot P dogs run from one kill to another. I'm wondering about removing the stick in front and below the dog. Should I?

    Hi Douglas

Is the Pope Catholic..... Would remove the front one if it was me.

Were you standing or on your hunches, I just thought a lower POV would be more dramatic..

Like inclusion of majestic surroundings, but find it a bit bright/distracting.
Did a rough masked curve layer and masked Brightness/Contrast on BG. Did not touch the doggie, or re-sharpened.
    WDYT?
    Regards

    Andre.

Lovely pose captured - like the paw up and the eye contact. These WD images from Mana are really making me want to get on a plane and go there. Andre's RP takes this up a notch, but I would also crop from the left to get rid of the poo and also position the dog more to the left and less in the center of the frame. I would also try removing the big branch immediately behind the dog to create more separation from the BG - that branch is really catching my eye. Finally, I would reduce structure / clarity on the BG a bit more.

Very nice image Douglas, well composed, with good HA and eye contact. I like the RP better. He looks ferocious for sure!

These guys were awesome! Cool pose and bloodied look here Douglas.
Good job on the cloning in the RP. I'd still crop some off the top, go pano?

Lovely capture and I like the RP more, agree with Morkel re. pano crop.

Well done Douglas, great eye contact there - it looks like your subject has just paused to look at you

    Kind regards,
