    Default Incoming Cape Vulture.

I visited the Vulpro hide on sunday. This is a conservation and rehab center who look after injured Vultures and also study the behaviour of these vultures. Some of them are tagged, and others have tracking devices on them to study how far they travel. They also leave carcasses out for the vultures to feed on. These vultures are totally wild and come down from the surrounding mountains. The BG is as shot.

Hi Stuart! Like the moment of landing and bird pose including head angle. All details are sharp and well exposed despite back light. Like the dust at back of bird too. Well done. TFS.

    Cheers,
    Miro

Now that is dramatic Stuart! beautifully exposed and sharp, like the bg showing the habitat which adds to the overall image.

    Cheers Keith.

Very nice! The pose is very dynamic and good details of the underside even there was no sunlight hitting the area. Very good eye contact and the intense gaze of the landing vulture adds to the image. The dust puts it up a few more notches too

Hi Stu - I like it a lot. Well exposed with nice sharpness and detail. Dynamic pose too and I also like the feather and dust behind. If it were mine I would probably crop to get rid of the dark spot in the llc or you could clone it out if you prefer.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Dramatic pose, nice comp, eye stands out despite being a bit shaded, well captured.

Wonderful incoming pose Stuart!! Lots of nice detail in this and the intense stare as this beast comes in for a landing is awesome. I like seeing the falling down feathers and the BG shows a bit of the African landscape. Very nice capture
