    I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve this morning. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
    1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering -1 EV ISO 160
    Post processed in Lightroom 5 and Photoshop Elements 10
    Removed a couple out of focus blades of grass near the feet, burning and highlight reduction to the body and head of the bird

    Good pose. I'd rotate it counterclockwise a couple of degrees to level the horizon. I might also be tempted to apply some light blurring to clean up the harsh background slightly.

    Hi Joseph, I like capturing Egrets too, they always produce great results. Good banking angle here showing the full wingspread, and I like the inclusion of the flowers in the FG. I felt there was a cyan cast to the whites, and did a quick adjustment by desaturating the cyan channel in saturation. WDYT?

    Spectacular banking pose in very nice habitat with beautiful flowers. I like the placement of egret in the frame.
