    This was taken this past weekend at a local creek. This is a male Ruddy in winter plumage. A lower angle could not be achieved but I like the angle anyways. I added a catch light and removed some debris in the water. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Nice image Jim. I like the sharpness of the duck and the details in the feathers. Great BG to go along with the colours of the duck. Well done

    Real good neat image Jim, bird sits well on that nice water with just enough reflection, Mitch's hunkered down comment covers it well .

    Hi Jim, you certainly nailed the detail and sharpness on the duck, and I like the texture of the water. If this were mine, I would take at least half off the bottom - it creates a better angle.
