Bill:
Excellent light/exposure on this cute fellow. I might consider a crop from the top. The feather details look a bit crunchy on my monitor.
Warblers are great subjects!
Cheers

Excellent pose beautiful breading plumage, Bill.
Nice looking individual and I love the breeding colors. Not over sharpened on my monitor. If possible I would remove the OOF stuff behind the head. Well captured Bill
Come join me for a Custom Raptor Workshop starting this November 2019- January 2020.
P.M. me to inquire on dates, pricing and availabilities. Thank You.

Nice work Bill. I agree with David regarding the oof vegetation behind the bird's head. Well done. Ian
This is about as un cluttered habitat as you ever see them, so nice work.
I would also try to get rid of the BG branches, but I know how that can go.....
The sharpening appears fine to me.

Great image and environment, Bill. Like the inquisitive eye contact. I looked at the exif attached with your image and the rest is; 1/500, f 7.1, ISO 1000, manual exposure.

Thanks everyone. Here's an alternate that crops some from the top, and removes all of the oof BG (of course some of the FG is also oof). Don't look too closely; as I look at the preview I can see at least one place where I screwed up.
I actually prefer the OP. I would just remove the oof stuff above the head and the long thin grey one behind the tail. I also like tyhe OP's comp better as I really like the leaf in upper left corner. Cute little warbler...it'll be at least 6 months before I see another one!
I like the pose, perch, setting and details. I like the composition in the repost but liked the leaf Daniel is referring to as well. I find with some birds with coarse feathers that they can look over sharpened sometimes but in this case the sharpness is good with me. Well done Bill.
Thanks everyone. Actually, I prefer the OP myself. Although I'll agree that it might be better without the blur above the head, as David and Daniel have suggested.
