    One more of the many Palm's that passed through our area in the last several weeks, on their way to warmer climes. I removed a bit of extraneous foliage.

    D7000, 700mm, ISO 800, 1/2500s @ f/7.1 manual.

    Really neat bird with lovely colour and detail and a bonus insect,bg looks very good especially with those bits of orange, perfect composition for me.

    very nice,sharp with good detail,food item a bonus,nice pose,if mine, would remove the dark piece of bramble that looks like it is coming out of the birds leg at the joint.

    Really like the clean background (good job removing the extra foliage). Detail is great throughout, and the bug is a plus!

    Really nice image, Bill. Good to have it perched on the closer part of the perch so there is no interference. Background is nice and clean.
