Image captured a few days ago at a local preserve. This is a lifer for me and what a cooperative bird. C&C welcome.

D700, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 tc, 1/250, f 7.1, ISO 1000, FF - 1.7 EV, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

Selective S/H, removed small distracting twigs and slight eye work in cs6.
