Wilson's Snipe In Habitat.

These guys can be so tough to see in their preferred habitat (unless found on a preferred farmer's field fence post), but here's one that was hanging out at the edge of some end-of-season dried-up reeds.

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/250s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, FF image, brightest reeds toned down, minor eye work.
