Love the exposure and detail of this magnificent kingfisher, and the textured, twisted perch also works well here. I think the horizonatal format that you have chosen makes for a great composition with the kingfisher staring into the space on left. I like it a lot!

It is a lovely shot great colours and good pose. Iam being hypercritical here but a tad more DOF would have been ideal.
