I photographed this elephant at Timbavati, this is near full frame with slight crop for composition. He was feeding on dried branches as there were hardly any leaves on trees.

very imposing creature. Nice detail and well composed. I wish the sun would have been a little more behind you so the face would have been more uniformly exposed.

Hi Sanjeev - My thoughts are the same as Douglas'. You brought out nice detail and the comp is good. I like the dirt on the tusk. Sharpness is also good but the angle of the light (or the angle of the ele) is problematic here. As is, there is an area of sky between the tree and the trunk that is brighter than the rest of the sky. It may have been a masking image but I would darken it until is uniform with the rest of the sky.

Hi Sanjeev, a very contented Bull by the expression.

The nice soft light has created some good tonal areas providing depth, texture and detail to the subject which is great and no harsh light on the tusks even better, the mud on the LH tusk is a nice touch. Looks well exposed.

Nice one Sanjeev, I like the deep contrasting black tones here, adds a lot of depth to the portrait.
    Classic frame!
