    Default Peregrine with dinner

Juvenile Peregrine falcon with what is left of a dove. An adult falcon had probably made the kill, the juvie got the trophy! Background is the cliff where the nest was high up on an edge.

Photographed with EOS 1D-X EF 600mm f/4 IS II with extender 1.4X III. ISO 1600. 1/3200sec at f/5.6. hand held. hope you like this frame.

Great capture Arash. The details on the bird look good and it is complmented by the BG colours.

A superb image. The colours on the bird including bare parts is good. It is a shame the bird's two primary wing feathers have been damaged but that does not detract from what is a picture perfect image.

Beautiful extended wing pose and I like the dove clutched in the feet. Too bad we cant see it better. The cliff BG looks great along with the great details in this solid Peregrine frame Arash. Nice!

Not sure I would have noticed the dove if you hadn't mentioned it. My eyes were fixed on his eyes and the perfect wing position. Lovely frame

Excellent flight frame Arash! Sharp, cool BG, great pose, and the prey item is icing on the cake.

No Shane. I don't photograph captive birds and wouldn't post a photo of a captive bird on this site. This juvenile was banded by researchers

I thought so. Thanks for confirming. Just thought it could have been a lost falconry bird.
